A building having outer walls which are formed at least partly by a highly heat-conducting material, such as metal, relative to conventional building materials, said heat-conducting material extending down below ground. According to the invention, the heat-conducting material below ground is constructed such that it extends out below free ground away from the foundation of the building. This ensures that the heat reservoir formed below ground gives off heat energy to the open air independent of the open air temperature, whereby the heat reservoir is emptied. The invention lends itself for use in e.g. cold stores and houses for pigs, where a relatively low indoor temperature is desired. The heat-conducting material will thus convey heat away from the outer wall of the building down to the heat reservoir below ground, which then gives off the heat energy to the open air.
|
