The housing has a rear portion (1) whose outer wall surrounds and protects the terminals fitted into parallel passages (4). The front portion (2) has openings (6) for access to the passages and acceptance of the pins of a complementary connector. To facilitate assembly the rear portion has two or more resilient tongues (e.g. 16) on its broad face, and the front portion has complementary resilient sections of its outer walls (9,9'). The tongues enter the spaces between the resilient sections and the neighbouring wall of the housing.
