PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate disentanglement of entangled springs and prevent entanglement of the spring, disentangled once, with other spring by a method wherein in springs entangled with each other flowing through a spring passage, one set of the springs at a time are collided with the solution surface of a casing body. SOLUTION: Entangled springs 20 are carried through a passage 30 on the admission side and advances into the interior of a separating device 3 through the spring admission port 13. Entangles springs 20 are arranged in a well-ordered state in an advancing direction by the left side part 7 and the inner guide part 16 of a casing 4 and passes through a spring passage 15. When the entangles springs 20 reach the central part of a spring passage 15, one set of the entangeled springs at a time are blown up by compressed air W blown right up through a compressed air blow-out port 18. The entangled springs are collided with the inner surface (or the respective inner surfaces of the front and rear surface parts 5 and 6 and left and right surface parts 7 and 8) of an upper surface part 10 being the collision surface part of the casing body 4, the entangled coils are disentangled from each other and dropped on the floor part 17A of a space 17, and discharged through a discharge port 14.
