The invention concerns a method and kit for producing structural parts and complete structural members using interconnected structural elements, and an arrangement for interconnecting the structural elements. The object of the invention is to provide a method, kit and arrangement of the type in question by means of which parts of structures of different shapes and comprising different configurations of the structural elements can be assembled to form self-supporting structural members, structural part sections and surfaces. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the structural elements are joined together to form flat structural parts and structural members by means of insertable connection elements which engage over edges and surfaces. The structural elements are locked and secured in the finished structural state as compact structural members. According to a development of the invention, the structural elements in the kit take the form of base and connection elements, the connection elements having guides which accommodate the base elements and are assembled to form flat and three-dimensional structures of different geometrical shapes in a given relationship and using direction-varying connection elements.
