PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal ink transfer sheet which is free from a missing photographic image, and is capable of forming a high-quality image, and is stably preservable for a long time, when printing an image on an image receiving sheet as a medium to which the image is transferred. SOLUTION: This thermal ink transfer sheet 1 consists of a dye layer on one of the surfaces of a base material. In addition, the sheet l has projecting organic fillers 3, contained in the dye layer, which are present on the surface of the dye layer. Besides, these fillers 3 are covered with an ink 2 for forming the dye layer. |
