PURPOSE: To facilitate connection to an end cap and restrain generation of noise by using a synthetic resin outer holding member integral with a metallic ball rolling race. CONSTITUTION: An integrally formed body 27 is constructed by jointing a synthetic resin outer holding member 38 integrally with the outside of a thin-wall cylindrical metallic ball rolling race 6 whose inner hole is formed with a ball rolling groove 7. End caps 4, 5 includes a second guide groove 9 which meets a first guide groove 14. It is thus possible to connect the integrally formed body 27 and the end caps 4, 5 easily. The first guide grooves 14, 15 are formed integrally with return passages 18, 19, so no step-off occurs between the return passage 18 and the first guide groove 14. The second guide grooves 9, 10 of the end caps 4, 5 are continuous to the return passages 18, 19 which can be positioned precisely with the ball rolling groove 7 taken as its reference at the time of synthetic resin integral formation. The first guide grooves 14, 15 meet the second guide grooves 9, 10 to form a direction converting passage whose diameter is uniform, so it is possible to make an inner surface of a ball limitless circulating passage smooth without any step-difference and restrain generation of noise. |
