PURPOSE: To provide a mechanism suitable for automatic storing compensating radiation source used for sensitivity compensation and absorption compensation of a positron CT device. CONSTITUTION: A storing mechanism part of a compensating radiation source 3 consists of the compensating radiation source 3, a lead container 14 housing it, a rotation ring rotating the compensating radiation source 3, various cylinders for storing the compensating radiation source 3 to/from the lead container 14, a mechanism part moving or stopping the compensating radiation source 3 at a specified position, and a compressor 16 for compressed air acting as a drive source for moving. The operability of a positron CT device is improved, and radiation exposure of an operator is prevented.
