PURPOSE: To reduce the terminal number of a drum unit for connecting to the main body of an image forming device and to improve the operability of drum unit exchange. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic latent image is formed by irradiating the surface of a photoreceptor with light, toner is stuck on the electrostatic latent image at a developing part, and the electrostatic latent image is developed. As to this image forming device, a drum unit 2 provided with an electrophotographic process means transferring the toner image obtained by the development to a transferring paper is attachably/detachably provided on the device main body. The unit 2 is disposed on the developing part and is constituted of a toner detecting sensor 21 detecting the existence/non-existence of toner housed in the developing part and an element 26 capable of fusion integrally constituted with the sensor 21. A connector for the connection to the device main body having common terminals 24 and 25 used for the driving of the sensor 21 and the fusion of the element 26 is provided, and the device main body performs the driving control of the sensor 21 and the fusion control of the element 26 through the terminals 24 and 25. |
