PURPOSE: To make it possible to continuously execute design and flight simulation of an airplane design simulator with one system. CONSTITUTION: A computer 1 has an airplane design function 10 and a flight simulation function 11. A pilot inputs graphic data by an input device 2a of a graphic input device 2 and designs an arbitrary airplane by this airplane design function 10. The computer 1 calculates the performance value of the airframe of this airplane in accordance with the designed shape data, inputs the calculated result to the flight simulation function 11 and executes flight simulation by the steering input by pilot's controller 3. This flight simulation is displayed together with mimic visual fields and instrument information on a display device 4 and, therefore, the design and simulation with one system are made possible. |
