PURPOSE: To provide an article-holding device which can hold various shapes of articles being carried while corresponding with those shapes under a state wherein the articles can be taken out or put in one by one, and the article is surely under an appropriately standing state, by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An article-holding device consists of an external frame body 1 which has an opening 14a facing upward, and an elastic holding element 2 which is attached inside the external frame body 1. Then, an article 3 is held in the external frame body in such a manner that the article 3 can be taken out from or put in the external frame body 1. Then, the elastic holding element 2 is attached to the external frame body 1 in such a manner that the article 3 can be held at the central part of the external frame body 1 in a standing state.
