FIELD: physico-chemical investigations. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigations of surface processes occurring in solid-liquid interface containing surfactants. Invention is aimed at finding means increasing accuracy and reliability of determining adsorption properties of liquids without using expensive precious metals owing to stable electrical parameters. Method includes multistep purification of metal specimen functioning as measuring electrode in capacitive sensor, measuring its Coulomb potential by the agency of rotating reference electrode, maintaining specimen in test liquid with different intervals to complete adsorption, while measuring potential in each interval and determining adsorption characteristics of liquid from difference in behavior between pure and covered electrode (specimen). Device contains capacitive sensor in the form of adjustable capacitor, one of its plates being rotating reference electrode and the other stationary measuring electrode made as rectangular sheets. Reference electrode is connected with synchronous drive and power source through a series of elements, and measuring electrode is successively connected with amplifier and indicator. EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of measurments. |
