PURPOSE: To shorten ice making time by directly applying chilled air to water on an ice tray. CONSTITUTION: A main ice tray 2 having a plurality of sub-ice trays 1 is installed to a freezer compartment where a chilled air duct 5 which introduces chilled air to the upper part of the main ice tray 2. A plurality of chilled air blow out ports are installed as opposed to the top of each ice tray 1 of the main ice tray 2 where a water supply device which supplies water to the ice making pan 2 is installed to a chill compartment. An ice tray drive motor 3 is installed, which separates ice made on the main ice tray 2 by turning over the main ice tray 2. An electrically-driven damper which opens and closes a chilled air inlet 7 is installed to the chilled air inlet 7 of the chilled air duct 5 while a control unit which controls the electrically-driven duct 5 and adjusts ice making time arbitrarily. |
