The fixture of a laminated piece of glass (10) to a carrying structure made up of two beds of glass (14,16;54) which are held together by a bed of butyryl (18;56), is of the type mounted in the interior of coincidental holes (20,22) pierced through the glass beds. It consists of a tubular fixing piece (28;58;68) with a countersunk head (30) which comes in contact with the countersunk face of the hole in the glass sheet (16) with a threaded section (27) at the other end. There is an insert, fitted before the two sheets of glass are joined, with a countersunk head which is lodged in a countersunk (24) hole (20) in the other glass sheet (14). There are also two split sleeves (40,42) mounted to pivot one inside the other and mounted in the gap between the fixing piece and the hole (20) of the sheet of glass (14). A fixing screw (44) is employed to clamp up the whole fixture.
