<p>The invention concerns an automatically adjustable safety harness (4), intended to be sewn fast into a lining which is equipped with fastening means (62) for integration into a pair of working trousers. The harness (4) has a waist belt (12) which via two connecting straps (28; 30) with fixed loops (8; 10) and via two position straps (52; 54) is connected with end loops (44, 48; 46, 50) on two leg straps (40; 42). The position straps hold the respective leg straps separated from the genitals of the user and the connecting straps (28; 30) are movable a predetermined distance (X) relative to the waist belt (12), whereby the leg straps (40; 42) are movable from a loose rest position to a tight working position around the leg of the user, through the corresponding connecting straps (28; 30) being stretched by a force acting on respective fixed loop (8; 10). The stroke length (X) ensures that the respective leg straps (40; 42) do not tighten too firmly around the legs of the user.</p> |
