PURPOSE: To produce a piston ring capable of preventing a cylinder from being worn and improving wear resistance. CONSTITUTION: A fiber material having >=20μm diameter and <=HV 300 hardness in an amount of 5-15wt.% and 1-10wt.% lubricating material are incorporated in a ring main body consisting of fluororesin, moreover, total mixed amount of these fiber materials and lubricating material is kept in 10-20wt.%.
