<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an accessor hand mechanism capable of accurately opening and closing a hand by a simple mechanism with simple motor control. CONSTITUTION: The accessor hand mechanism consists of a 1st base 27 capable of moving vertically, a 2nd base 28 fitted pivotally turnably around a horizontal axial line to the 1st base, a tilting means for tilting the 2nd base to the 1st base between a 1st tilting position and a 2nd tilting position and a hand unit 30 fitted movably between an advancing position and a retreating position on the 2nd base 28. The hand unit 30 has a 1st hand 46 and a 2nd hand 48 which is movable between a closing position for grasping a recording medium cartridge to the 1st hand and an opening position for releasing the cartridge. In addition, the accessor hand mechanism consists of a 1st drive means for moving the hand unit 30 between the advancing position and the retreating position and a hand opening and closing means for moving the 2nd hand 48 between the closing position and the opening position as described above.</p> |
