<p>PURPOSE: To execute the communication in response to a baud rate and a mode by generating an interrupt request based on combination of a timing circuit, a shift register and an interrupt circuit corresponding to a data length of received data so as to recognize a protocol automatically without use of a high performance CPU. CONSTITUTION: Received data by start-stop transmission are given to an automatic protocol recognition device A via an interface 5. Then a protocol is recognized automatically by matching an output of a timing circuit with a timing of a stop bit output via a shift register by a combination of a timing circuit counting a timing of a stop bit by a data length and a mode of presence/ absence of a parity, a shift register and interrupt circuits 1a, 2a, 3a and 1b, 2b, 3b,... in the equipment A and an interrupt request is outputted from a corresponding interrupt circuit. Then the communication specifying a baud rate and a mode is executed by a corresponding masking processing without use of the high performance CPU.</p> |
