PURPOSE: To obtain an image without generating color slurring by automatically adjusting a correction current supplied to a convergence coil corresponding to the reference system or non-reference system of an input video signal. CONSTITUTION: The digital convergence correction data of m×n adjusting points are stored in a data preservation part 103, and the correction data are transferred to frame memory 104 via a data transfer control part 102. The correction data in the frame memory 104 are also used for vertical direction interpolation in a vertical interpolation circuit 112, and suplied to the convergence coils 143-148 via flip-flops 113-124, D/A conversion circuits 125-130, LPFs 131-136 and amplifier circuits 137-142. An interpolation timing is obtained in the vertical interpolation circuit 112. and also, an interpolation coefficient is generated, however, the interpolation timing and interpolation coefficient are adjusted corresponding to a video signal of reference system or non-reference system by a delay circuit 1 and a delay quantity setting circuit 2.
