PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject antibody useful as a diagnostic reagent, etc., by immunizing an animal with human undifferentiated cell antigens, subsequently boosting the animal with tumor cell antigens, preparing hybridomas by fusing the antibody-producing cell which has been produced from the animal with myeloma cells, and subjecting the hybridomas to selective cultures. SOLUTION: An animal is immunized with human undifferentiated cell antigens, and subsequently the animal is boosted with tumor cell antigens such as human ovarian cancer cells, human gastric cancer cells, human liver cancer cells, human lung cancer cells, human bladder cancer cells, human spleen cancer cells, human kidney cancer cells or human colon cancer cells to obtain antibody- producing cells. Subsequently, the antibody-producing cells are fused with myeloma cells to prepare hybridomas, a desirable hybridoma is selected from the hybridomas, the selected hybridoma is cultured, and thus produced monoclonal antibodies to the above tumor cell antigen are recovered to obtain the objective monoclonal antibodies useful as a diagnostic reagent, etc.
|
