Successive message cells are thereby cyclically distributed onto the trunks with a fixed temporal offset. Upon reception of the message cells, the trunks are cyclically interrogated in the same run sense with a temporal offset that is shorter than the temporal offset with which successive message cells are distributed onto the trunks.
