PURPOSE: To provide a welded part flaw detection apparatus by which the abnormality and the flaw in the welded part of an object to be inspected, whose plate thickness is thin can be inspected in a short time and accurately by using plate waves. CONSTITUTION: A fixed shaft 3 is attached to an apparatus body 2, wheels 6, 7 are fitted externally to the fixed shaft 3 via a plurality of bearings 5, and a tire 8 is attached to the wheels 6, 7. On the other hand, an ultrasonic transducer 11 which oscillates ultrasonic waves at 20MHz or higher is arranged and installed at a slit part 3a for the fixed shaft 3 inside a hollow part 9 which is constituted of the wheels 6, 7 and of the tire 8. Then, water in which the tip of the ultrasonic transducer 11 is immersed and the air whose internal pressure has been increased to 101 to 152kPa are sealed hermetically inside the hollow part 9. |
