PURPOSE: To eliminate the problem of shift of maximum of one dot in a superposing position among colors during printing of colors in an electronic photographic device for forming latent images by scanning a photoreceptor with a laser. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic device is provided with a photoreceptor reference position detecting means 1, a CPU 2, a photoreceptor control means 3 for receiving a command from the CPU 2 and a scanner motor control means 4 for receiving a command from the CPU 2 and when the reference position of a photoreceptor belt is detected by using scanning of a laser, by controlling a photoreceptor motor 5 so as to cause the rotational speed of the photoreceptor belt to increase by 1/k times or the rotational speed of a scanner motor 6 by (k) times, detecting accuracy is increased by (k) times and limited within maximum 1/k dot shifting. |
