OUTSIDE WALL DIAGNOSING METHOD AND DEVICE

PURPOSE: To automatically detect the amount of deterioration of the outside wall of a building according to the change in a striking sound and at the same time freely change the direction of a rise/fall traveling truck with a pair of active wheels for determining direction. CONSTITUTION: An outside wall diagnosing method allows a rise/fall traveling truck 5 being suspended via a wire 4 to rise and fall and a wall surface 2A is measured by striking the wall surface 2A by each wall-surface striking means of the rise/fall traveling truck 5. Then, the travel in side direction on rise/fall is performed by a pair of active wheels for determining direction of the rise/fall traveling truck 5.
