PURPOSE: To reduce the dispersion of the abutting pressure of a regulating member on a toner carrier, to keep image density constant, and to reduce jitter. CONSTITUTION: A regulating member 55 is positioned by engaging with a projected part worked by half punching a holding member 58, and interposed between the holding part 58 and a pressure member 57 worked by press bending in an L-shape and fastened through a screw. When the toner carrier 51 is incorporated, stress exceeding allowable bending stress is generated to cause permanent deformation on the regulating member 55, whereby the upper limit of pressure by the regulating member 55 is limited by making the bent amount of the regulating member 55 equal to or under a specified value. |
