PURPOSE: To provide a method for the ultrasonic washing of the interior of a pipe capable of obtaining washing capacity markedly excellent as compared with a conventional method, capable of achieving the shortening of washing work and capable of efficiently performing washing work. CONSTITUTION: Water supply equipment consisting of a water receiving tank 1, an overhead water tank 2, a water pumping-up pipe 3, a water supply pipe 4 and branch pipes 5 is filled with a washing soln. and an ultrasonic oscillators are connected to the water supply equipment filled with the washing soln. through respective connection members 6 and ultrasonic waves are oscillated from the ultrasonic oscillators to apply ultrasonic vibration to the inner wall of the water supply equipment to accelerate the peeling of a deposit such as rust or a contaminant and vibration is also applied to the washing soln. to activate the same and, after ultrasonic washing is continued for a predetermined time, the deposit bonded to the inner wall of the water supply equipment is discharged along with the washing soln. |
