PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in adhesivity, etc., useful for screw locking, by incorporating an emulsified dispersion of (meth)acrylate monomer with an encapsulized organic peroxide, reducing agent and silane- treated microballoons. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by incorporating (A) a liquid prepared by emulsifying and dispersing a monomer bearing acryloyl and/or methacryloyl group (s) in water by using a protective colloid consisting of a water-based polymer with (B) 0.2-20 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the monomer, of an organic peroxide (pref. benzoyl peroxide) microencapsulated by pref. interfacial polymerization, (C) 0.1-5 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the monomer, of a reducing agent capable of forming a redox with the component B (pref. ethylenethiourea), and (D) 0.2-20 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the monomer, of silica microballoons surface-coated with an amino-contg. alkoxysilane. It is preferable that the diameter of the microcapsule in the component B be 5-100μm and the peroxide included in the microcapsule account for 5-30wt.% of the microcapsule.
