<p>PURPOSE: To improve the sealing performance by forming the end surface of a socket for branching to the curved surface set along the cylindrical surface of the housing of a branch pipe coupling, inserting the hollow cylindrical part projecting to the inner surface of the socket for branching from a rubber sleeve, and closely attaching the projection parts of the socket for branching and the hollow cylindrical part. CONSTITUTION: A branching port is formed on a housing 1, and on the peripheral cylindrical surface at the branched port, a socket 5 for branching whose end surface 4 is formed to the curved surface set along the cylindrical surface of the housing 1 is fixed, and formed integrally through welding 10. Further, a projection part 7 is formed by projecting the place corresponding to the branched port on the housing 1 of a rubber sleeve 2 installed on the inner surface of the housing 1, and a closely attached seat 8a positioned in close adhesion with the pipe end part surfaces of the pipes A and B to be joined is formed, and the projection part 7 is fitted in a watertight and airtight form on the socket 5 for branching. Accordingly, the top end of the projection part 7 is closely attached in a watertight and airtight form at the end part stage difference part 5b of a screw part 5a for the connection of the branched pipe which is formed on the inner surface of the socket 5 for branching.</p> |
