<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a color toner excellent in environmental resistance and durability and giving a clear image free from fog and excellent in transparency by using a color toner obtd. by piece dyeing with a thiadiazole compd. CONSTITUTION: This color toner is a color toner obtd. by piece dyeing with a thiadiazole compd., e.g., a compd. represented by formula I, wherein R1 is H, alkyl which may have a substituent, phenyl which may have a substituent or allyl, K is an aniline coupling component which is an arbitrary monovalent group derived from aniline or its deriv. and (n) is 0, 1 or 2. A compd. having a specified aniline coupling component represented by formula II is especially advantageous as the compd. represented by the formula I.</p> |
