PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive fluorescent lamp lighting device with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A current limiting circuit 1 forming a closed loop by a current limiting inductor L2, a DC arresting capacitor C3, a preheating capacitor C2, and the filament of a fluorescent lamp L is inserted into a parallel resonance circuit 2 formed of a resonating inductor L1, a resonating capacitor C1 and a negative pulse absorbing diode D. The voltage V supplied from a power source circuit 3 is preliminarily raised to a kick voltage necessary for the lighting of the fluorescent lamp L by the parallel resonance circuit 2 to light the fluorescent lamp L. |
