Infrared type gas concentration analyser with twin-beam measurement

The concentration analyser for gaseous, solid or liquid samples in a sample chamber utilises transmission measurements of a measurement and reference infra-red beams, where light from a source (1) on one side of the chamber is split at the other side of the chamber by a mirror (2,3) into a measurement (5) and reference (4) beam which transverse the chamber again to fall on the measurement receivers (6,7). The absorption cavity (11) is connected by tubular sleeves (13) and enclosed by filters (14).
