PURPOSE: To provide a customer management system which can automatically acquire a customer information based on the vehicle information on the number plate attached to a vehicle with no complicated work required when the vehicle enters an oil filling station through its entrance and thereby, can ensure a quick and sure customer service. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle entering an oil filling station through its entrance is detected by an entrance sensor 6A, and an image pickup camera 7A corresponding to the sensor 6A is selected via a video selection switch 9 and based on the detection signal of the sensor 6A. At the same time, the front image data on the vehicle photographed by the camera 7A are fetched and also the vehicle information such as the number of the vehicle on the number plate is acquired from the image data via a number plate recognition part 10. Then, a customer information file 11 is retrieved based on the vehicle information so that the customer information is acquired and shown on a liquid crystal display 15A attached to a filling counter device 21 of the oil filling station via an output control part 12. |
