TONER BINDER, TONER, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC METHOD AND DEVICE

PURPOSE: To obtain a toner excellent in flash fixability, void resistance, environmental stability and stability of a charged state and emitting no foul odor especially at the time of flash fixation. CONSTITUTION: This toner binder is made of polyester resin contg. 1-5wt.% constituent element in which an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain divided by ester bonds and/or ether bonds to aliphatic groups is made of ethylene. This toner binder may be composed of crosslinked polyester having a peak mol.wt. of <=10,000 and straight chain polyester having a peak mol.wt. of >=8,000 as binder resins. The mol.wt. peak of the straight chain polyester is higher than that of the crosslinked polyester.
