PURPOSE: To increase the degrees of freedom in selection of playing tone elements with a simple operation and to variously change the playing tone elements according to taste by storing the playing tone elements formed by interpolation according to the instructions for storage independent of the assignment in the degree of association. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 40 reads the parameters constituting the timbres of a piano out of a memory 50 and applied the parameters to a synthesizer 110 via a demultiplexer 90 and a holding circuit after D/A conversion in the case of playing the tones of intermediate timbres between, for example, a piano and chembaro. The parameters constituting the timbres of the chembalo are read out of the memory 50 and the tones based thereon are generated from the synthesizer 110 when a preset switch 72 for playing the tones of the chembalo is operated. The arbitrary voltage values which are the degree of association between the initially set voltage values are outputted. The CPU 40 calculates the differences between these voltages values and the initially set voltage values and successively stores the interpolated parameters into the memory 50. |
