Proposed are new detergent mixtures with improved foaming action and enhanced cosmetic tolerability to the skin, containing (a) monoglyceride (ether) sulfates and (b) sugar surfactants selected from the group consisting of (b1) saccharose esters, (b2) sorbitan esters and/or (b3) polysorbates. The mixtures are suitable for producing a large number of surface-active agents.
