NEAR-INFRARED HIGH-SENSITIVITY SILVER BROMIDE(IODIDE) EMULSION

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a silver bromo(iodide) emulsion exhibiting high sensitivity at a near IR spectral region as an IR sensitizing silver halide emulsion. CONSTITUTION: This photographic element consists of radiation sensitive silver bromide grains contg., in some cases, iodide, and spectral sensitizing dyestuff adsorbed to the surfaces of these grains. The spectral sensitizing dyestuff is polymethine dyestuff exhibiting an absorption peak at the near IR spectral region of 700 to 1500nm and the grains exhibit a face-centered cubic crystal lattice structure formed in the presence of iron and a 6-coordinate complex of at least three pieces of cyanide ligands.
