PURPOSE: To surely and smoothly connect a conductive line to an electric circuit and stably drive a liquid crystal by forming a continuous and irregular uneven structure in an anisotropic conductive layer. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display element 10 and a heat seal connector 20 having a continuous and irregular uneven structure 25 in the side opposite to an insulating resin film 21 of an anisotropic conductive layer 20' are pressed against each other by a thermally pressing jig 30. Consequently, a conductive line 23 of the pressed connector 20 is brought into contact with conductive particles 22 and pushed downward and at the same time a thermally fusable adhesive resin 24 flows in the recessed parts 26 of the uneven structure 25 of the anisotropic conductive layer 20'. The thickness of the adhesive resin 24 at the parts corresponding to the conductive line 23 is thus made thin from the thickest thickness to the average thickness. As a result, the particles 22 are extruded relatively abundantly from the adhesive resin layer and a thin film 3 is torn and an electrode terminal part 20 for external connection and the conductive line 23 of the connector 20 are surely communicated together electrically. |
