PURPOSE: To prevent bonding failure in wire bonding. CONSTITUTION: A flexible printed-circuit board fixing jig consists of a setting base body 10 that is connected to a vacuum source, and that has a hollow portion 10a facing openings 10b at its upper part; a flat plate 11 that is placed and secured on the setting base body 10 in such a manner that the openings 10b are closed and it is replaceable. A plurality of suction holes 11a that extends from the top to the underside of the flat plate 11, are formed in positions other than those under the electrode connections in a flexible printed board 2. Thus it is possible to fix and position the flexible printed board 2 on the setting base 9 by vacuum suction force, and to obtain good bonding quality. |
