PURPOSE: To produce a part having a complicated shape such as an instrument panel or a door trim and to shorten a process by performing the molding of a skin material composed of a polyolefinic thermoplastic elastomer, the molding of a polypropylene core material and the foaming of a pad material in the same process. CONSTITUTION: A two-layered sheet 11 consisting of a TPO skin material sheet 9 and a pad material precursor 10 is heated to 140-150 deg.C and the skin material sheet 9 is clamped between lower and upper molds 12, 13 for molding a core material 6. The lower mold 12 has a suction hole 14 for vacuum molding and has surface properties wherein the patterns ready to be formed on the surface of the skin material are reversed. The two-layered sheet 11 consisting of the skin material 9 and the pad material precursor 10 is stretched under the reduced pressure generated through the suction hole 14 to be pressed to the lower mold. A resin is injected from an injection device to be molded into the core material 6. The foaming agent contained in the pad material precursor 10 is decomposed and foamed by the temp. of a molten PPG resin to form a pad layer having elasticity. |
