摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the overlap of a source image and an orthogonal transforming pattern and to accelerate arithmetic speed by reducing the aperture of each picture element on a source image display means rather than the aperture of each picture element on an orthogonal transforming pattern display means. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of a source image display means 3 and an orthogonal transforming pattern display means 5 for displaying the pattern to orthogonally transform the displayed source image, and the aperture of each picture element on the source image display means 3 is reduced rather than the aperture of each picture element on the orthogonal transforming pattern display means 5. Namely, the center of respective picture elements on the means 3 is matched with the center of the aperture part of respective picture elements on the means 5, and the aperture area of respective picture elements on the means 3 is relatively reduced rather than the aperture area of respective picture elements on the means 5. Thus, in the case of matching the positions vertically to the advancing directions of light beams on the two display means 3 and 5, even when they are deviated a little, arithmetic is enabled, the overlap of the source image and the orthogonal transforming pattern is facilitated, and arithmetic speed can be accelerated.</p>
