<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sleeve which is excellent in work efficiency and has enough inundation resistance, as a result, is suitable when used in the case that an optical cable is used as a cable. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical sleeve 2 made of flexible resin is free to open and close in single swing form by an opening 20a provided longitudinally at the side. The width of the opening 20a is enlarged outward in diametrical direction, and projections 30 and 31 are made, severally, and besides, at the opposite end faces 20c and 20d of the opening 20a are a plurality of parallel grooves 21 extending in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve 20 made so that the recess 22 of the groove 21 and the projection 23 to be opposed to each other when the sleeve 20 is closed may engage with each other, and besides gel-form fluid 24 is stored in the groove 21. When the sleeve 20 is closed, the opening 20a is sealed by the engagement between the projection 23 and the recess 22 and the interposition between the projection 23 and the recess 22.</p> |
