LIGHTWEIGHT STAMPABLE SHEET EXCELLENT IN EXPANSION PROPERTY AND HANDLING PROPERTY

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the expansion property and handling property (touch; pricking feeling) of a lightweight stampable sheet obtained by thermally expanding a web formed from a dispersion of a reinforcing glass fiber and a granular matrix resin by a papermaking process so as to obtain predetermined thickness. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of reinforcing glass fibers different in diameter are used and W2wt.% of a large diameter fiber and W1-wt.% of a small diameter fiber are added to a stampable sheet so that a value of W2/(W1+W2) is set to 0.3-0.7.
