<p>The pipe (1) consists of a hollow body (2) of fibrous material which is made up if helical spirals, butt-jointed or overlapping, of one band (3) of a lapped fibrous material. The material is composed in part of thermo-fusible fibres, the spirals being made solid between them and the hollow body rigidified by the fusion of one section of the thermo-fusible fibres wound strip. A reinforcement in the form of a bundle of thermo-fusible fibre threads is introduced in a helix as the pipe is being formed.</p> |
