PURPOSE:To enable the interpolation and expansion by the same processing for the lack of packets and the compression of a redundant part. CONSTITUTION:On transmission side, a series of coded sound information is transmitted as packets, in each of which the data part is constituted of coded sound information, time information at the time of its coding, and the number of frames, separately for each block of plural frames, and for redundant parts (F4-F7) such as soundless parts, other (F5-F7) than the coded sound information of the first frame are abandoned, and a packet P is constituted as the sound information on the last in the packet of F4, and it is transmitted. On reception side, information is interpolated with the information F4 right before it, treating t5-t8 as an information free section from the time information is of the received packet P1, the number of frames; 2, and the time information t8 of the packet P2. |
