PURPOSE:To provide a long life die for lead frame working which attains improved wear resistance and high precision working of worked shape, suppresses lead frame material and soldering material from sticking and removes sticking, etc., by a simple method. CONSTITUTION:In the die for lead frame working to cut/shape a lead frame 2, the working part at least is made of a ceramic material containing <100ppm iron and cobalt. This ceramic die, by the simple cleaning method in which the die is treated in an acid water solution and then is treated in water or a water solution containing acid corrosion inhibitor, can remove a stuck solder. |
