<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism for generating a rotating load on a reel base in engaging with a slip mechanism at the time of drawing out a magnetic tape and to suppress a variation in take-up torque at the time of taking up the reel base. CONSTITUTION:A gear unit 1 for engaging with a lower gear of the reel base is arranged in a side part of the reel base. The gear unit 1 is composed of an operating gear 2 and an engagement lever 3 for holding the operating gear 2 from its upper and lower parts and supporting it freely rotatably. The engagement lever 3 is equipped with a receiving plate 30 forming a bearing 33 for freely rotatably supporting the center of the operating gear 2 and an abutting piece 31 for holding the operating gear 2 by its elastical deformation between itself and the receiving plate 30. Then, a boss part 24 for abutting the abutting piece 31 and increasing an elastic deformation amt. of the abutting piece 31 is provided on one side surface of the operating gear 2.</p> |
