PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of holding stable high picture quality without image unevenness and image shift such as gradation, etc., for a long term even without using high precise mechanical parts. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device repeatedly recording an image on an image recording medium 6a in the direction intersecting with a rotation moving direction by using an image recording means 6c while rotation driving the image recording medium 6a by a rotation drive mechanism and transferring the image recorded on the image recording medium 6a on an image transfer medium 22 transferred in the rotation moving direction of the image recording medium 6a, this device is provided with a rotation detection means 6r obtaining the rotation moving amount of the image recording medium 6a and a recording timing control means controlling recording timing (HSYNC) starting to record the image in the direction intersecting with the rotation moving direction of the image recording medium 6a by the rotation moving amount obtained by the rotation detection means 6r. |
