PURPOSE:To surely recover developer out of the device in a short time by rotatably supporting a separator and rotating the separator in a developer recovering direction at the time of recovering the developer in the device. CONSTITUTION:In a state where the developing device 10 is attached to an image forming device, the inclined part 1b of the separator 1 is positioned so that it may be placed on the other end of a body part 1a and it may shut an opening part. At the time of recovering the developer in the device, the developer in the developing device 10 is discharged by turning a toner replenishing part upside down after detaching the toner replenishing part from the developing device 10. Since the inclined part 1b of the separator 1 is rotatably attached to the body part 1a, the inclined part 1b is rotated counterclockwise and the opening part of the body part 1a is opened at this time. Thus, the developer stored in horizontal stirring members such as the separator 1 and a carrying screw, etc., is easily discharged from the developing device 10, and the developer in the device is easily recovered. |
