<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the soot in a combustion cylinder from passing to a bypass pipe as it is unburnt even when the combustion cylinder is vibrated, or a sudden acceleration or deceleration acts on the combustion cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A particulate collector 16 is provided in the course of an exhaust pipe 14 connected to the exhaust manifold 13 of an engine 10, and a particulate filter 17b is housed in the collector. A combustion cylinder 16e is connected to an incineration chamber 16c formed on the bottom part of the collector. The top end of the combustion cylinder is opened, and a heater 16f is freely inserted to the combustion cylinder. The top end of a nozzle 19 inserted to the downside exhaust pipe 14c on the exhaust gas lower stream side of the filter is turned to the filter, and a shut-off valve 28 provided on the downstream exhaust pipe 14c on the exhaust gas lower stream side from the nozzle opens and closes the downstream exhaust pipe. A chamber 20 communicating with the combustion cylinder is provided above the combustion cylinder. One end of a bypass pipe 33 having the other end of connected to the chamber is connected to the downstream exhaust pipe 14c on the lower stream side from the shutoff valve.</p> |
