Device for the rapid attachment of diving-equipment cylinders to a back construction and for rapid release from the latter with: a rigid support (2), which is connected to the cylinders (20) by means of straps (11) and is provided at one end with a locking recess (4), and with a back structure (3), which can be connected by way of holes (9) to the stabiliser jacket and is secured with a crossbar (5) which forms a coupling with the recess (4) in the rigid support (2). This back structure has a pin which is introduced perpendicularly therein in the vicinity of the end which lies opposite the crossbar (5), the support having a hole (9) in the vicinity of the end opposite the recess (4), and a spring clip device (7) with two arms (8) inside a hole (9), the said device locking the abovementioned pin (6) in the hole (9).
