The invention concerns a method of filling the root of a tooth with a plastic filler material. The plastic material (3) is contained in a capsule (2) which is connected to a flexible tube (1) made of rubber or similar material. This flexible tube (1) has an outlet at its lower end and extends to the lowest internal part of the root. The filler material (3) is forced through the tube (1) by a piston (10) which is inserted into the capsule. Alternatively the filler material may be inserted by connecting the interior of the tooth root to a vacuum source. USE - Dentistry.
